About Us

What our services are like, who are we apart of, and where we're headed as a church family

When you experience your first church service at Alive Church, it's our hope that you'll feel uplifted, energized, and closer to God. We offer two church services: one on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm and one on Sunday morning at 10:30 am. We also offer the opportunity to watch our services via Livestream on our Facebook page.

Our church service begins with Pastor Starla leading the worship with contemporary Christian music that will help you begin to focus on God, rather than the multitude of other things that may be running through your mind. We invite you to sit, stand, sing, or dance along to the music as you praise and worship. We use our worship time to focus on gratitude and gratefulness for all of the goodness that God has given us and hope for the spots in our lives that bring us stress.

After the worship portion of our service, Pastor Parker prays with the congregation and delivers the message. We're a Bible-based church, and we believe that the Bible is the word of God. Pastor Parker has a way of explaining the message so that it makes sense for your life. We know that the Bible has stood the test of time for a reason - it's filled with the messages that God wants us to have to live in a way that pleases Him and reflects His image.

At the end of our service, we invite our church to pray together. If you want prayer you'll be met with an army of prayer warriors who are on your side. We know that God hears our prayers, and we continually see God responding to the prayers of his people.

Yes, we are proud to be apart of the Assemblies of God. The Assemblies of God was founded in 1914 in Hot Springs, Arkansas with 300 people at the founding convention. Today there are 13,017 churches in the U.S. with over 3 million members and adherents. There are more than 69 million Assemblies of God members worldwide, making the Assemblies of God the world’s largest Pentecostal denomination.

Our desire as a church is to raise a group of believers that live out the faith they profess! We are not interested in only teaching doctrine that you can impress your friends with over coffee. While being knowledgeable about God's word is extremely important to us, knowledge without action is just religion. So we strive to help people live out the faith they profess in practical ways.

What does this mean for you? Most importantly, you're always welcome at Alive Church. We're saving a seat for you. Wherever you're at in your faith journey, you'll always be accepted as part of the Alive family. We have a place for you!
